Equip yourself with the skills to tackle complex wound care problems.

This flexible course allows study towards a Graduate Certificate, a Graduate Diploma or a full Master of Wound Care. For administrative purposes, all students enrol in the master’s program, but can exit early with a graduate certificate or graduate diploma.

The Master of Wound Care is designed to enable health professionals to advance knowledge and skills in the provision of care to the increasing numbers of patients with complex wounds. Students will gain specialist skills to enable the formulation, implementation and evaluation of wound care management plans.

Online delivery gives you the ability to study our wound care course from anywhere. It also allows you the flexibility to fit study around work and personal commitments.

The Master of Wound Care prepares a range of health professionals for advanced practice in wound care.

Develop the specialist skills and knowledge to optimise healing. You will learn to formulate, implement and evaluate wound management plans in clinical practice.

You will also be able to hone your skills in leadership, professional communication, reflective practice and innovation in wound care to improve clinical practice and patients outcomes.

At the master’s level you will have the chance to structure your study to suit your interests and career aspirations by choosing between the following:

A coursework stream: where you will investigate clinical risk management in relation to wound prevention, as well as consolidating advanced clinical practice skills in wound care. A research and coursework stream: where you will gain advanced skills in wound related research

为来自中国的学生设计 Entry level 1: Duration: 2 years full-time, 4 years part-time (96 points to complete) An Australian bachelor degree, or an equivalent qualification, and a minimum of two years relevant employment. OR An Australian bachelor degree, or an equivalent qualification, with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70. Entry level 2: Duration: 1.5 years full-time, 3 years part-time (72 points to complete) An Australian bachelor degree, or an equivalent qualification, in a cognate discipline and a minimum of two years relevant employment. OR An Australian bachelor degree, or an equivalent qualification, in a cognate discipline with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70. Entry level 3: Duration: 1 year full-time, 2 years part time (48 points to complete) An Australian bachelor degree, or an equivalent qualification, in a cognate discipline and a minimum of five years relevant employment. OR An Australian undergraduate honours degree, or an equivalent qualification, in a cognate discipline with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70.
