 From single structures through to industrial complexes and entire neighbourhoods, infrastructure engineering is at the heart of communities of every size, driving economic growth in countries across the world.
 Our unique and accredited MSc will provide you with specialist knowledge that can allow you to target niche positions in industry in the areas of infrastructure planning, delivery, operation and asset management. You’ll be taught by academics with a track record in infrastructure issues, together with professionals from industry.
 We’ll also give you the opportunity to attend keynote talks from distinguished speakers held on campus, and participate in an organisation visit related to the topics you’re studying.
 What you will study
 Our MSc in Infrastructure Engineering and Management explores the planning, design, analysis and management frameworks of infrastructure systems.
 This course is designed to develop your technical knowledge of infrastructure engineering within a social, economic, environmental and political context; the factors that affect and drive infrastructure planning and funding; and the interdependent nature of infrastructure across different sectors.
 As a student on this course, you’ll acquire a sound understanding of the entire life cycle of infrastructure assets, the environmental impact of infrastructure projects, infrastructure finance models, Building Information Modelling (BIM), sustainable decision-making and formal asset-management techniques.
 You’ll be able to use the knowledge you gain from this course for the creation of new infrastructure as well as the management of existing systems.

  为来自中国的学生设计 To apply for one of our postgraduate courses that require a UK 2:1, the grade requirement depends on the institution you have studied at in China. Our usual requirement is 75% or 80% overall. For courses that require a UK 2:2, you must achieve 70% or 75% overall, depending on the institution at which you have studied, IELTS Academic: 5.5 overall with 5.0 in each component
