专业概况

在这里学什么？ Children and young people’s nurses work in a variety of clinical settings and provide care, support, advice and education to 0-18 year old children, young people and their parents/ carers. You will learn how to manage and maximise the health of children and young people in a hospital or in the community. When attending the University you will be welcomed into a relaxed and friendly environment in which to learn. A wealth of facilities are available to you including formal teaching, group and one-to-one sessions, a comfortable and enriching learning space, and state-of-the-art clinical set ups with child, infant and adult simulators.50% of your studies will be spent in hospital and community settings, within the NHS and independent sector, where you will spend time in a well-supported environment, working alongside qualified practice assessors and supervisors.On successful completion of this course you will have a recognised degree qualification that leads to registration as a qualified nurse, with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants with a graduation certificate from a specialised college or school (zhongzhuan) with a final grade of 60% or above will be considered for the International Foundation Year. Applicants who have completed the huikao (senior secondary school) with a final grade of 60% or above will also be considered. Applicants who have completed three full years of high school and hold a senior secondary school graduation certificate with an overall minimum grade of 60% will be considered for undergraduate study. Applicants who hold a dazhaun qualification with a score of 60% or above will be considered for advanced entry on relevant undergraduate programmes if appropriate modules have been studied. Applicants who have achieved ACC/BCC/BC in graded units on their SQA-HND programme will be considered for final year entry on selected undergraduate business programmes. We require IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum 5.5 in each component) or equivalent.
