The undergraduate/pre-professional program in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is available to non-graduate students who are in the process of completing a first undergraduate degree or who are changing career directions through a second undergraduate degree. In addition, graduate students who are completing pre-requisites before entering graduate level courses take courses in this component of the program.

Junior Year, Fall:

• CSD 307 Speech and Hearing Science
• CSD 308 Language Development
• CSD 309 Anatomy and Physiology of Hearing and Speech
• CSD 334 Introduction to Audiology

Junior Year, Spring:

• CSD 336 Articulation disorders
• CSD 337 Language disorders
• CSD 338 Voice and Fluency disorders
• CSD 556 or 557 Adult or Paediatric Aural Rehabilitation
• CSD 588 Neurology (or Senior Year Spring)

Senior Year, Fall:

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have completed a high school diploma and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 is required; preferred 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 GPA scale. UNCG accepts the following English Language Proficiency results for direct entry: IBT TOEFL 79 minimum; IELTS 6.5 minimum; ELS 112 score report; PTE Academic 53 minimum; and Level 5 Certificate – American Language Academy (ALA).
