A variety of courses are offered to allow students to develop their own interests and attain their professional objectives.

Learning Outcomes

Graduates of the History and Political Science Department will:

develop critical thinking, writing, analytical and research skills;
be prepared for graduate study, as well as for careers in the public and private sectors;
develop a critical understanding of the historical and political context within which they can meaningfully understand their life experiences;
become knowledgeable about the theory and application of their respective fields; and
utilize a comparative international or cross-cultural perspective.

TOEFL - 80 iBT or higher; 550 pBT or higher; IELTS - 6.5 overall band score or higher, ELS - Satisfactory completion of ELS 112, Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) - Advanced score of 176 or higher, Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) - Score of 53 or higher.
