专业概况

As a family nurse practitioner, you work directly with individuals and families throughout their lives, providing expert care, support and compassion. This bridge program builds on your associate’s degree in nursing so you can move seamlessly into graduate-level coursework to earn a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN-FNP) without first earning your bachelor’s degree.

Aside from a total of four on-campus meetings, this part-time program’s coursework is offered entirely online with clinical experience in your community, giving you the flexibility to continue to work. Once you are admitted into the MSN-FNP portion of the program, you’ll expand your education and clinical experience to provide safe, effective culturally competent and advanced practice nursing care to individuals and families as a member of an interdisciplinary team and in the context of the community. When you graduate, you’ll be eligible to sit for the Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification Exam and begin your fulfilling career.
