Polymers are the building blocks of materials that form our world, our civilization and us. Understanding the nature of polymers - their structure and properties - enables scientists to:

• develop groundbreaking original materials
• solve specific challenges
• meet the needs of a rapidly evolving global society and economy

The Polymer Chemistry Undergraduate Degree at Pittsburg State University is one of only three undergraduate programs in the United States. Our program is designed to create the next generation of scientists and engineers who:

• solve some of the world's greatest challenges

You'll learn from qualified professors in small classes (average class size is 15) in order to ensure hands-on support and guidance on state-of-the-art equipment.

为来自中国的学生设计 High School Academic Records: A minimum GPA (grade point average) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in high school and have earned a high school diploma; International College/University Academic Records: A minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) in an accredited international post-secondary institution (college/university); U.S. College/University Academic Records: A minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) if transferring from an accredited U.S. college with at least 24 credit hours (approximately one year of college work). English Language Requirements: TOEFL score of at least 520 (paper) or 190 (computer) or 68 (internet); IELTS score - Overall band of 6.0 (with a minimum score of 5.0; PTE Overall score of 47.
