专业概况

The Standard Foundation program is suitable for students who have completed Year 11 or equivalent studies and have almost reached university entry requirements but still need to improve their academic literacy and study skills.

Successful completion of the program allows students into the first year of a Macquarie University degree provided they meet the entry requirements.

KEY FEATURES

Students choose one stream from three options: Arts stream, Business and Commerce stream, or Science and Engineering stream.

The course and stream prepares students for entry into a Macquarie bachelor degree in their chosen field.

Teaching and learning activities focus on assisting students to acquire academic knowledge and the study skills needed to succeed in higher education in Australia.

English language skills are integrated into all units to assist students to increase their confidence and competence.

Students should select the Arts Stream if they intend to articulate into the following degrees:
