专业概况

Master of Construction Management facilitates the study of advanced project management and engineering techniques for the construction industry. The program prepares you to be in control of construction project management specifically in resources planning and risk assessment.

The duration of study is 1.5 years full-time or equivalent part-time. Students will undergo three long semesters of 12 weeks and two short semesters of 6 weeks. Classes are normally held on weeknights and/or weekends.

Career opportunities

At the completion of the Master of Construction Management course, graduates will have an opportunity to gain advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of construction and infrastructure management principles, procurement and cost analysis. Graduates can pursue careers as construction managers, project engineers/ managers, civil engineers and asset management engineers in a range of industries including consulting engineering, construction, research organisations, private sector, local and other government authorities.

Key Information due to COVID-19: Swinburne will continue with its fully online learning for our students. Online learning and assessments continues to be the primary mode of delivery for the majority of the learning activities.
