Design has a transformative effect on the world around us. This impact cuts across culture, business, the environment, and the economy. The course will give you an understanding of this impact and how you can shape it.

Dundee is a creative and cultural city. It was awarded UNESCO City of Design status in 2015, an honour that has had significant impact on the design community in the city already, with many events and opportunities being initiated as a result. The prestigious title has seen Dundee join other UNESCO Cities of Design such as Montreal, Buenos Aires and Beijing, and has become the first and only UK city to receive the award.

Delivery

Our courses are normally delivered face-to-face on-campus however due to the current global crisis, some of our courses are available to start online. Allowing you to start your academic journey to a postgraduate qualification as planned.

Course Structure

The IIM Design is available over one-term. It’s a fast track route to your postgraduate degree in Design at the world-class Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, University of Dundee University.

Product Design Design for Business

Product Design

Successful completion of a Bachelor degree in a related design discipline or relevant professional experience.

Design for Business

Applicants do not have to possess a first degree in Design but should be able to demonstrate an understanding of Design principles.
