在这里学什么？ **Summary**: This degree includes an integrated foundation year if you do not have the appropriate subjects and/or grades for entry to year one of the degree. Whether you’re passionate about covering Premier League football, the Olympics, Formula One or netball, this course equips you with the skills to build a career in one of the most competitive areas of the media.**Course details**: Delivered by professional journalists with top-level experience in TV, radio, print and online, you learn how to file a match report and interview leading athletes, as well as analysing the social, political and economic aspects of the global sport industry. Our practical multimedia and academic ethos means you will be equally comfortable working with words, pictures or audio across all platforms, including social media. Alongside this you develop your critical skills to tackle key questions such as doping, corruption and equality in sport. You learn by doing, building an impressive portfolio of published work, and have the opportunity to report on live football at Middlesbrough Football Club.Work experience is integral to this programme. We have long-established contacts across regional and national media, including The Gazette, Sky Sports News and i newspaper, as well as with partner sports organisations including Middlesbrough Football Club and Tees Valley Sport.**After the course**: When you successfully complete the foundation year, you can progress to the first year of the degree. Graduates have progressed to cover sport for Sky Sports and BBC Tees.

为来自中国的学生设计 For entry onto a Foundation or Extended programme, applicants require: Huikao (Chinese senior secondary school graduation certificate) Successful completion of the first two years of Senior Secondary School with a minimum average of 70% or successful completion of Senior Secondary School with a minimum average of 60%; For entry onto an Undergraduate programme, applicants require: For entry onto Year 1: Huikao (Chinese senior secondary school graduation certificate) Successful completion of Senior Secondary School with a minimum average of 80% Or Gaokao (Chinese university or college entrance exam) with a minimum score of 500; For entry onto Higher National Diploma: Gaokao with a minimum score of 450; For entry onto Integrated Master of Engineering – MEng (Hons): Gaokao with a minimum score of 550; For entry onto Undergraduate top-up programmes (third-year entry); Dazhuan (three-year college graduation diploma) with a minimum of 70% average or, SQA Higher National Diploma with BBC as minimum or, Edexcel Higher National Diploma – standard UK entry requirements or, UK accredited foundation degree.
