专业概况

The MM program in performance with a concentration in collaborative piano gives students the opportunity to perform with all instrumental areas and voice, focusing on collaborative endeavors such as song recitals, instrumental duos and chamber music, operatic and musical theatre productions, and participation in large ensembles.

Students refine their pianistic technique while developing the specific knowledge and abilities to be skilled and sensitive musical collaborators. Collaborative piano students have an impact on every area of the School of Music, Dance and Theatre, and their work with singers, instrumentalists, choral and large ensembles, composers, music theatre and opera colleagues leads toward advanced careers in music.
