在这里学什么？ Studying the Philosophy major at NCH offers an opportunity to be taught by some of the foremost scholars in the field. Talented staff and a wider-ranging curriculum ensure that students engage with their course material in a very hands-on way. From Plato to Nietzsche, from advanced ethics to metaphysics, and from politics to logic, philosophy students are challenged with a rigorous curriculum aimed at academic growth and intellectual creativity.The Philosophy with English BA will equip you to analyse and make arguments with clarity, rigour, and originality. The Philosophy major will give you the ability to engage with central questions, arguments, theories and texts concerning the world and our place within it. Learn about the logic behind language and meaning, while studying topics such as ethics, metaphysics and aesthetics. The programme allows you to investigate expressions of the central questions in human life. You’ll learn how to deal with these issues in a clear, precise and rigorous way, and will develop skills to deal with abstract critiques and principles and to engage in text-based analysis of the arguments of philosophy and literature. 为来自中国的学生设计 Students studying the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) alongside three A Levels may be eligible for an alternative offer.Please note that A Level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by NCH as one of your A Levels. We do not accept native language A Levels as part of your A Level offering.
