The accounting degree is for those students who like the challenges of demystifying puzzles as well as problem-solving. The accounting programs in HPU prepare you for the CPA exam by studying the theories and concepts behind the figures, then financial reporting, auditing, taxes, and all tools needed to become ready for the dynamic world of accounting. Students graduate prepared to seek accounting positions in public accounting, private industry, government service, and not-for-profit organizations. Internships are available and may be considered as an elective for this accounting degree. Alumni from accounting programs are employed by international firms, regional and local firms, by public and private corporations, and by various government and non-government agencies.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students are preferred to have a 3.0 GPA or above in high school college preparatory courses. High school courses: In preparation for undertaking academic studies at the University, it is recommended that applicants have completed at a minimum the following courses: 4 years English; 4 years History or Social Science; 3 years Mathematics; 2 years Science. Students who have taken the Advanced Placement Examinations of the College Board (AP) or the International Baccalaureate Program (IB) should have the official results forwarded to the Office of Admission. English Language Requirements: TOEFL (IBT) score 70; TOEFL (ITP): score 500; IELTS score 6.0; Cambridge: Score 169; ELS Centers - 110; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) – 48; and CEFR: Score B2.
