The Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts program at Azusa Pacific uniquely equips students to pursue creative careers in a broad range of artistic fields including stage and arts management, writing and directing, arts education, arts ministry and technical design. Opportunities for working side by side with industry professionals and participating in prestigious internships prepare students to thrive in performing arts careers.

Exploring Faith and Making Culture

Pursuing a major in APU’s College of the Arts means exploring with diverse individuals the intersection of faith and the arts to tackle some of life’s most complex questions. Faculty with experience living out their Christian faith in a secular industry offer wisdom and mentorship while you create bonds with like-minded students pursuing artistic careers. “Those who tell the stories rule society,” said Plato, and at APU you will find a thriving community of creative students and faculty who share the goal of becoming great artists who can influence the entertainment industry, and in turn, the wider culture, through stories about beauty, redemption, and what it means to be human.

This 39-unit degree makes it feasible for a student to double major. The department also offers an Acting for the Stage and Screen major (BFA) for students who wish to pursue professional acting careers and graduate studies in performance

为来自中国的学生设计 Students currently enrolled in high school or who have earned fewer than 28 units of college credit following high school graduation. International students should have obtained a TOEFL iBT sore 80 including scores of 22 in speaking, 22 in listening, 22 in reading, and 22 in writing and IELTS score 6.0.
