UTSA’s Art History & Criticism Program
UTSA’s Art History and Criticism degree offers an extensive view of art historical studies in the context of a liberal arts education. The coursework includes surveying art from prehistoric times to the discovery of the Americas, along with studying contemporary and cultural art. Complemented with an art gallery and museum internship, this program emphasizes critical thinking, research and writing skills in order to prepare you for opportunities in careers requiring a liberal arts background, or pursuing graduate studies in art history or other related fields.
