专业概况

The Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) is designed to meet the global demand for high-quality graduates in accounting.

Accounting is the backbone of the business world. A company’s financial health is key to its success and without accountants making the numbers work, it’s impossible for a business to thrive. Accounting is a respected, internationally recognised career. Regardless of the economic outlook, accountants are always in demand and can be found in every industry.

Students will integrate theoretical and technical knowledge of financial and management accounting, auditing, finance, economics, quantitative methods, information systems, business law and taxation law.

The course is ideal for graduates who do not have an undergraduate degree in accountancy and wish to obtain an accredited professional accountancy qualification for a career change.

Upon graduation from the master's program, you will have met the minimum requirements for entry into CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and the Institute of Public Accountants.

Students with a Student Visa will need to complete the program in minimum duration, study at least one subject on-campus each semester and must not undertake more than 33% of the program online.

为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must hold the equivalent of an Australian bachelor degree from a recognised university or institution with a pass average. Individual courses may also have additional specific requirements. English language proficiency requirement: Overall IELTS score of 6.5 (with an individual score of 6.0 for all tests); Pearson Test of English (PTE): 58 with a minimum of 50 in all four communicative skills; Test of English as a Foreign Language - Academic (TOEFL): Internet based total of 79: minimum 21 in writing, 18 in speaking, 13 in reading and 12 in listening; ACU English Language Test: B (65-74%); Cambridge Advanced English (CAE): Overall CAE of 176 (Minimum individual score of 169 in all tests).
