专业概况

This 48-credit hour degree prepares you for a career as a school counselor in Pre-K through post secondary school settings.

Through coursework and field experiences you'll develop the knowledge and skills to work with a diverse student body and learn how to communicate effectively with a variety of other educational and mental health professionals to foster the academic, personal, and career development of your students.

Explore preventative, developmental, and remedial intervention strategies Gain experience in group and individual counseling Develop a deep understanding of the issues needed to succeed in a diverse and multicultural school environment
