专业概况

在这里学什么？ Students entering the University of Aberdeen Sri Lanka Medical Pathway will spend the first three years of the programme and will be awarded the bachelor of Clinical Medical Science (B Clin Med Sci) upon completion of year 3. Students will then progress to year 4 and 5 of our Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degree with excellent clinical experience undertaken in Sri Lanka.During your time in Aberdeen, you will study medicine in a thriving medical school that is co-located on one of the largest clinical sites in Europe with superb teaching and extensive research facilities. Our modern, dynamic and clearly delivered MBChB programme uses a systems-based integrated approach. Our curriculum is constantly reviewed and updated in response to changing GMC guidance, scientific and medical advances, changes in healthcare delivery and changes in educational theory and practice. Student feedback is highly encouraged. On site facilities include a large teaching hospital, paediatric and maternity hospitals which means that you will have access to and be taught by experienced clinicians who are at the forefront of modern clinical practice and research. In Sri Lanka, clinical placements will be delivered with our private healthcare partners, who provide centres of excellence in hospitals in Colombo as well as hospitals in the Central and Southern regions of Sri Lanka.

Alternatively, good scores in the GAOKAO will also be considered. Science: Students with overall scores of 80% and above in the Senior High School Diploma will be considered for entry. Students must score 80% or above in two science subjects. Alternatively, good scores in the GAOKAO will also be considered. Engineering: Students with overall scores of 80% and above in the Senior High School Diploma will be considered for entry. Students must score 80% or above in Maths and Physics science subjects. Alternatively, good scores in the GAOKAO will also be considered. Law: Students with overall scores of 85% and above in the Senior High School Diploma will be considered for entry. Alternatively, good scores in the GAOKAO will also be considered. IELTS overall score - 6.0, Listening - 5.5 or above, Reading - 5.5 or above, Speaking - 5.5 or above, Writing - 6.0 or above. TOEFL iBT overall score - 78, Listening - 17 or above, Reading - 18 or above, Speaking - 20 or above, Writing - 21 or above.
