专业概况

在这里学什么？

You’re passionate about criminal justice issues in society and think you want to major in sociology, but have you thought about what comes next? If you want to work in public service or law enforcement organizations, you can put your career on the fast track by earning a graduate degree, too. And you can earn a dual bachelor’s/master’s degree through Suffolk’s accelerated program.

This dual degree program is open to Sociology majors enrolled in the Crime & Justice concentration. You’ll take two graduate-level courses in your senior year and then complete your graduate studies in a fifth year (full-time) – saving both time and tuition.

Your graduate courses will enhance the knowledge and skills you gained as an undergraduate. You’ll be able to explore the field of Crime & Justice more deeply, with a concentration in Victim Advocacy or Youth, Crime, & Justice. And you’ll also get firsthand experience in the field with our internship courses.

This program provides an accelerated path for exceptional undergraduate Sociology majors in the Crime & Justice concentration to obtain a Master’s degree in Crime & Justice Studies.

This program allows admitted students to complete two master’s-level courses during their senior year, which will fulfill requirements for the completion of the dual Bachelor’s/Master’s degree.
