专业概况
在这里学什么?The Finance major focuses on the evolving demands of the global financial environment. You'll be introduced to the latest educational technology, including Compustat, CRSP, Stock Trak, Bloomberg, and Morningstar. Our trading room provides a simulated environment where you can analyze the latest stock quotes and compare currency exchange rates, just as professional traders do.
And you’ll learn from faculty who have real-world business experience at companies such as Ford Motor Company, Rho-Theta Associates, and Delta Partners LLC. Your professors offer a first-hand global perspective, having lived, worked, and studied in countries like Tunisia, China, Uganda, and Iran. Others are leading researchers who publish in top academic journals, such as the Journal of Corporate Finance and the Journal of Economics and Business.
Many of our graduates earn the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation—a mark of distinction that sets them apart in the workplace. That’s because our BSBA in Finance incorporates at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge and emphasizes the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. As a result, the program has been accepted into the CFA Institute University Recognition Program.
