专业概况

在这里学什么？ **Course overview**: This course includes an integrated foundation year - ideal if you are not ready to join Year 1 of the degree directly. Apart from the foundation year, the remainder of this degree is identical to the BSc (Hons) Construction Management programme and leads to the same level award.This construction management programme provides you with the skills and understanding of principles, practices and ethics in the construction industry within a national and global context. You learn the core construction management skills you need throughout a project lifecycle, including the role of digital technology in the construction industry. As a design or construction professional you are required to organise, analyse and understand increasing amounts of data - this change of role is highlighted by the UK regulations and standards, for example UK BIM mandate, BS PAS 1192 series and BS 8536 series.Professional accreditation for the course will be sought from the Chartered Institute of Building.**After the course**: A construction management degree provides you with a range of skills and knowledge, including construction technology and the role of digital technology in construction, teamwork and problem solving, which are highly valued by employers.The construction industry is one of the most important contributors to the UK economy and provides excellent career prospects for our construction management graduates. As the construction of buildings and infrastructure projects are expanding, there are numerous opportunities for you to develop areas of particular expertise relevant to your personal interests.

为来自中国的学生设计 For entry onto a Foundation or Extended programme, applicants require: Huikao (Chinese senior secondary school graduation certificate) Successful completion of the first two years of Senior Secondary School with a minimum average of 70% or successful completion of Senior Secondary School with a minimum average of 60%; For entry onto an Undergraduate programme, applicants require: For entry onto Year 1: Huikao (Chinese senior secondary school graduation certificate) Successful completion of Senior Secondary School with a minimum average of 80% Or Gaokao (Chinese university or college entrance exam) with a minimum score of 500; For entry onto Higher National Diploma: Gaokao with a minimum score of 450; For entry onto Integrated Master of Engineering – MEng (Hons): Gaokao with a minimum score of 550; For entry onto Undergraduate top-up programmes (third-year entry); Dazhuan (three-year college graduation diploma) with a minimum of 70% average or, SQA Higher National Diploma with BBC as minimum or, Edexcel Higher National Diploma – standard UK entry requirements or, UK accredited foundation degree.
