在这里学什么？ **Summary**: This degree includes an integrated foundation year if you do not have the appropriate subjects and/or grades for entry to year one of the degree. The course offers a well-established entry point to one of the most challenging and sought-after graduate career paths. You are taught by industry professionals with a broad range of experience – in television, radio, print and online.**Course details**: Our aim is to ensure a high-quality student experience whilst meeting the needs of a rapidly transforming industry at a time of unprecedented global change. Journalists graduating from Teesside are equipped with the necessary storytelling skills to succeed across multiple media platforms and student work is nationally recognised for its excellence. Studying journalism at Teesside, you begin by learning the basics of original content creation – how to find a story, discover your individual voice, and expand your interests and knowledge. You understand how stories are reframed for digital and social media and how to set up your own website and generate revenue. Our unique multimedia platform Tside includes a website, social media channels, print publication and a radio show. Here you produce original journalism for a wide range of audiences. Whether your passion is sport, fashion, music or traditional news, we aim to ensure that you are industry-ready to take up your chosen career.**After the course**: When you successfully complete the foundation year, you can progress to the first year of the degree. A degree in journalism offers a well-established entry point into one of the most challenging and exciting careers. Graduates have taken up a range of roles at organisations such as BBC Tees, Sky Sports and Trinity Mirror.

为来自中国的学生设计 For entry onto a Foundation or Extended programme, applicants require: Huikao (Chinese senior secondary school graduation certificate) Successful completion of the first two years of Senior Secondary School with a minimum average of 70% or successful completion of Senior Secondary School with a minimum average of 60%; For entry onto an Undergraduate programme, applicants require: For entry onto Year 1: Huikao (Chinese senior secondary school graduation certificate) Successful completion of Senior Secondary School with a minimum average of 80% Or Gaokao (Chinese university or college entrance exam) with a minimum score of 500; For entry onto Higher National Diploma: Gaokao with a minimum score of 450; For entry onto Integrated Master of Engineering – MEng (Hons): Gaokao with a minimum score of 550; For entry onto Undergraduate top-up programmes (third-year entry); Dazhuan (three-year college graduation diploma) with a minimum of 70% average or, SQA Higher National Diploma with BBC as minimum or, Edexcel Higher National Diploma – standard UK entry requirements or, UK accredited foundation degree.
