专业概况

在这里学什么？ The Philosophy, Politics & Economics BA (PPE) at NCH offers three separate pathways to the degree. The Economics pathway enables you to study Economics as your major subject, comprising 50% of your undergraduate degree, alongside Philosophy and Politics as joint minors, each of which will form 25% of your degree studies.The central aim of our PPE programme is to increase your understanding of, and ability to engage with, central questions, arguments, and texts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, and to provide a lively sense of interrelations between these subjects.Our Economics major encourages you to think critically about the building blocks of the discipline of economics, and enables you to understand economic events and decisions in the real world.The key aim of all Economics courses at the College is threefold. Firstly, they encourage you to think rigorously about economic theory. Secondly, they develop your quantitative skills in order to engage with the subject as it is commonly practiced. 为来自中国的学生设计 Students studying the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) alongside three A Levels may be eligible for an alternative offer.Please note that A Level General Studies, Critical Thinking, Thinking Skills and Global Perspectives are not accepted by NCH as one of your A Levels. We do not accept native language A Levels as part of your A Level offering.
