The Master of Arts in Mathematical Foundations program is designed for elementary, middle school, and special education teachers who wish to teach math at the upper primary and middle school levels- even if they lack a mathematics background. The curriculum emphasizes pedagogical competence, technical proficiency, and cultural responsiveness to the needs of diverse learners.
