专业概况

The JD/Masters in Non-Profit Leadership (NPL) prepares students who aspire to assume positions of leadership in law and nonprofits. Students leave the program with the skills needed to transform nonprofits, social enterprises and international NGOs. Additionally, the program’s graduates learn how to use new thinking and innovative approaches to address long-term challenges across the social impact sector enable them to be change-makers in their organizations and ultimately to lead social change.

Students can earn both degrees in three years. The MS Non-Profit Leadership is a ten (10) credit course of study. Joint degree students may apply up to four (4) courses from the Law Program towards the MS and up to four (4) approved courses from the MS program towards the JD.

Students apply separately to each department. Applications to the NPL Program at SP2 are welcomed: 1) contemporaneously with the Law School Application; 2) after acceptance to the Law School but prior to matriculation; or 3) after matriculation at the Law School during the 1L year.
