专业概况

在这里学什么？ **Course overview**: Learn all the tools photography has at its disposal in the digital age to make striking images for the gallery, industry and beyond. Aspiring professional photographers will develop both technical and conceptual skills as they explore many styles and forms of image making. You can focus on fine art, fashion, commercial, or editorial photography and take part in both on and off-campus exhibitions, visits to local and regional galleries, workshops and visits from guest speakers working in both fine art and industry. Explore the practice and theory of photography, practice your art in a supportive community, and enjoy access to professional staff and resources.**After the course**: A large variety of unique options are open to you after graduating. The creative, research and professional skills gained open a broad range of careers possibilities, including freelance and corporate photography industries (advertising, fashion, editorial, blogging, documentary and art photography); photo-related industries (art buyer, picture editor, publisher); art-related (curator, archivist, gallery admin); further education and academic (teaching, research, education); art directing; entrepreneurship.

为来自中国的学生设计 For entry onto a Foundation or Extended programme, applicants require: Huikao (Chinese senior secondary school graduation certificate) Successful completion of the first two years of Senior Secondary School with a minimum average of 70% or successful completion of Senior Secondary School with a minimum average of 60%; For entry onto an Undergraduate programme, applicants require: For entry onto Year 1: Huikao (Chinese senior secondary school graduation certificate) Successful completion of Senior Secondary School with a minimum average of 80% Or Gaokao (Chinese university or college entrance exam) with a minimum score of 500; For entry onto Higher National Diploma: Gaokao with a minimum score of 450; For entry onto Integrated Master of Engineering – MEng (Hons): Gaokao with a minimum score of 550; For entry onto Undergraduate top-up programmes (third-year entry); Dazhuan (three-year college graduation diploma) with a minimum of 70% average or, SQA Higher National Diploma with BBC as minimum or, Edexcel Higher National Diploma – standard UK entry requirements or, UK accredited foundation degree.
