专业概况

在这里学什么？

This course will give you new routes into the construction and property practice industries.You’ll study a strong core of technology, alongside sustainable construction, property law and business management. If you study full-time, there’ll be the chance to carry out a work placement in the third year, improving your employment prospects further.

With a broad construction curriculum, this course will help to develop the skills and expertise to feel confident working within the building surveying industry. We’ll cover: construction technology; project management; law; economics; asset management; management and practice skills; and inspection, repair and maintenance. You can choose to take an optional year in industry in your third year.

Employability

For those who love buildings and enjoy variety in their work, building surveying is an interesting and stimulating career choice. Building surveyors advise clients about the design and construction of new buildings and maintenance and repair of existing buildings.

Many of our graduates enter the industry as trainees with quantity surveying/construction firms and organisations in UK and abroad. Recent graduates have gone onto jobs such as Graduate Building Surveyor and Property Manager.

为来自中国的学生设计 To apply for an undergraduate course at LSBU you need to have one of the following: Senior High School Graduation Certificate with a minimum of 70-80% (course specific requirements may apply); Chinese University / College Entrance Examination ('Gaokao') with a minimum of 350-400 in relevant subjects; Vocational College Diploma ('Gaozhi') diploma with average marks of 70% minimum; suitable UK Foundation course with a minimum of 60%; minimum English language requirements are as follows: IELTS 6.0 with all skills at 5.5 or above.
