APU’s Bachelor of Science in Finance prepares students to make sound financial decisions. This finance major provides a solid foundation in accounting principles, investments, economics, business law, international business, statistics, and marketing, which then serve as a framework for in-depth study of financial markets, international trade, financial analysis, and risk management.

The program features faculty who remain connected to businesses in their areas of expertise and provide internship contacts, and students have the opportunity to engage in tutorials that allow them to explore areas of interest, such as insider trading records and stock returns, insolvency/bankruptcy accounting, international financial management, and foreign exchange markets.

Students learn practical application of finance theory through case studies and internships in order to guide organizations toward financial opportunities and risk management. Finance majors leave APU with the tools they need to be good stewards of personal and corporate financial resources. You’re a finance major if you: Enjoy working with numbers. Are a good communicator. Are thorough and detail oriented. Like giving advice. Want job security and the potential for high salaries.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students currently enrolled in high school or who have earned fewer than 28 units of college credit following high school graduation. International students should have obtained a TOEFL iBT sore 80 including scores of 22 in speaking, 22 in listening, 22 in reading, and 22 in writing and IELTS score 6.0.
