Pharmacy Administration is multidisciplinary field which applies principles and theories from epidemiology, education, economics, mass communication, psychology, sociology, and management sciences to address health care problems at both the individual patient and population level. You do not need a degree in pharmacy to pursue MS degree in Pharmacy Administration.

Why pursue a degree in Pharmacy Administration?

Changes in population demographics, increased reliance on pharmaceutical products and services, healthcare policy reforms, changing roles of informed consumers in the treatment process, and cost containment pressures in current economic times are influencing the health care system. These changes have created a need for researchers who can study the psychosocial, political, legal, marketing, and economic factors that influence the appropriate and efficient use of pharmaceuticals and diverse health care services.

Individuals with talent and advanced training in pharmaceutical marketing, consumer behavior, regulatory affairs, health care management, pharmacoeconomics, health economics and outcomes research, and pharmacoepidemiology are actively sought by academia and the healthcare industry.

The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is located in New York City, a hub of healthcare consulting and pharmaceutical industries which provides students with abundant job opportunities. 为来自中国的学生设计 Applicants must have an evidence of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university including official transcripts from each institution attended. English Language Requirements: TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) examination. Successful candidates present a score of 500 on the paper-based test; 173 on the computerized test; 61 on the internet based test; or 5.0 on the IELTS (International English Language Testing System).
