Outstanding lawyers need cutting-edge practical skills to succeed in a rapidly changing world. At Suffolk Law, students learn those skills in a wide range of programs, such as in legal writing, trial advocacy, dispute resolution, and clinics. Suffolk Law takes this training seriously: we're the only school in the country that has had four top-20 ranked legal skills specialties clinics, dispute resolution, legal writing, and trial advocacy in U.S. News & World Report for four years in a row (2017-20 editions).

Suffolk Law also prepares students with 21st-century knowledge and skills. Pre- Law Magazine lists Suffolk among its "Top 20 Most Innovative Law Schools," and the National Jurist Magazine recently listed Suffolk Law as having the top legal tech program in the country. The school's willingness to try new approaches matters. In our clinics and classrooms, students have learning opportunities that aren't available everywhere--like our clinics in IP and Entrepreneurship and Supreme Court advocacy; our working, on-campus law firm run by students; the Legal Innovation & Technology Lab; and an accelerated JD program for students looking to finish up more quickly.

In an era that requires increasing specialization, Suffolk Law offers multiple academic concentrations and areas of focus, coupled with real-world opportunities through clinical programs and internships, and the professional coaching needed for a transformative educational experience.

Accelerated JD program is designed for the driven, highly motivated student who is ready to take on the challenge of a rigorous and competitive program. Due to the intensity of the program, admission is highly selective and enrollment is limited. If you are looking to complete your JD in less time and ready for a program that offers you the academic rigor and real-world experiences you'll need to succeed.

Full-time JD (2 years or 3 years) – This traditional program allows JD students to earn degrees in six semesters of study. Accelerated full-time JD students take classes at night during two summers to graduate in two years. Traditional full-time JD students have summers off for experiential learning—from externships to clinics to international study and practice.

Accelerated JD (2 or 3 years) – Classes begin in May for first-year accelerated JD students and continue year round (fall, spring, summer) so you can graduate one year sooner. All accelerated JD summer classes are held after 5 p.m. for day and evening students. Accelerated JD students take the same number of credits and pay the same per-semester tuition as traditional JD students. Available for day or evening students.

Hybrid Online JD (3 or 4 years) – Earn your JD with a mix of in-person and online classes in the new Hybrid Online JD Program. Take your first 30 credit hours in-person at Suffolk Law in Boston then take a mix of in-person or online classes for the remainder of your JD. Available for full- or part-time evening students who achieve a 3.0 during their first year of law school.

为来自中国的学生设计 Students must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the United States, or an equivalent degree granted by an institution in another country (as determined by the Office of Graduate Admission). English Language Scores: A minimum TOEFL score of 80 in the iBT scoring system (with no sub-score lower than 17) or 550 on the paper-based is required to be considered for full admission. International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - A minimum score of 6.5 (with no sub-score below 6.0) is required to be considered for full admission. PTE-Academic (Pearson Test of English) - A minimum score of 65 is required to be considered for full admission.
