UTSA’s Modern Language Studies Program

UTSA’s Modern Language Studies degree will provide you with the opportunity to study the various cultural aspects of a language area and is available in French, German, Japanese and Russian. The curriculum aims to develop skills, knowledge and awareness within these cultures and will prepare you to address the growing demands brought by globalization. This degree offers a well-rounded humanistic education that will help you land careers in national security, public service, teaching, international business, banking, international media, tourism, foreign relations and publishing.

A TOEFL Paper-Based Test (PBT) score of 550 or greater. An IELTS score of 6.5 or greater. A PTE Academic score of 58 or greater. A Cambridge C1 Advanced minimum scale 180 grade C or higher.
