UTSA’s Information Systems Program

At UTSA, the Information Systems degree features a broad curriculum that will teach you how to apply basic information technologies to all aspects of a business organization. You will cover a wide range of IS topics ranging from systems analysis and design, database management, application development, programming concepts and more. You can choose a track in either Cyber Analytics or IT Project Management. Tracks are declared after you’ve been admitted and have met with your academic advisor.

You’ll learn the traits necessary to help organizations coordinate their computer-related activities and achieve their technology goals. After completing this program, you will be able to pursue careers as a programmer, software developer, database administrator, network administrator, computer systems analyst, web developer or IT manager.

A TOEFL Paper-Based Test (PBT) score of 550 or greater. An IELTS score of 6.5 or greater. A PTE Academic score of 58 or greater. A Cambridge C1 Advanced minimum scale 180 grade C or higher.
