UTSA’s Chemistry Program
Roadrunners seeking a Chemistry degree may choose from either the B.S. in Chemistry or a B.A. in Chemistry. The B.S. meets the minimum requirements for professional chemists through an official certification by the American Chemical Society.
Both programs are designed to ensure career opportunities in environmental studies, government agencies, teaching industry, medical technology, pre-professional programs, or can pave the way for graduate study in chemistry or other related fields.
